Compass Marketing also has sponsored many local events including the 4th Annual Halloween Bench Press at The Westminster Family Fitness Center. As well as “Rock the Pink”, a Benefit Concert and Breast Cancer Awareness Night to benefit Susan G. Komen Foundation. Compass Marketing proves that volunteering and raising money can also be a lot of fun. Compass Marketing entered a team in the 2008 JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes, also a group of Compass Employees raised over $100,000 for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation by biking 100 miles in Whitefish, MT in the Ride to Cure Diabetes. This year, Compass employees jumped into the frigid Chesapeake Bay in January at the Annual Maryland State
Police Polar Bear Plunge to Benefit the Special Olympics Maryland.

ANNAPOLIS MAN ISN'T AFRAID TO TAKE ON BUSINESS OR POLITICS
By KATIE ARCIERI, Staff Writer
It's Thursday afternoon at John White's waterfront offices on Severn Avenue in Eastport.
Inside, picture frames hold photographs of the 39-year-old businessman beside former President George W. Bush and Michael Steele when he was lieutenant governor of Maryland.
Another photo is of White with his brothers and sisters, most of whom served with the Maryland State Police.
And outside is a stormwater run-off management system that his company, Compass Marketing, uses to help protect the Chesapeake Bay.
One look around White's office and it's clear what's important to him: Republican politics, family and the bay.
It also is clear that while businesses across the world are suffering in a recession, White's company shows no signs of slowing down. Click here to read more. (PDF)
